Product Details

The 2 HP Model 2722 submersible grinder pump is designed for low-pressure sewer systems, high-head sewage systems, and domestic or commercial wastewater applications. Its hardened 440 stainless steel shredding ring and grinding cutter reduce solids before discharge, helping wastewater move through a 1-1/4-inch NPT discharge line. The 220 V, single-phase motor is configured for 50 Hz electrical service commonly used across Asian markets.

Built with ASTM A48 Class 30 cast iron, the Model 2722 features an oil-filled motor for cooling and lubrication, a ductile iron semi-open impeller, and thermal-overload protection mounted directly on the motor windings. An epoxy-potted cord seal provides moisture resistance and helps prevent water from traveling through the power cable, while a silicon carbide mechanical seal with a secondary lip seal provides added motor protection. Every Model 2722 pump is 100% factory tested before shipment.
