This cast iron pump with a ductile iron impeller provides the dependability expected from a Zoeller pump. Every pump is 100% factory tested, helping deliver peace of mind right out of the box.

The 2 HP Model 2242 submersible sewage pump is designed for wastewater and sewage handling, dewatering, and water-transfer applications. Its semi-open ductile iron impeller passes 50 mm (2-inch) spherical solids while reducing bearing load and helping prevent clogging. The pump has a rugged ASTM A48 Class 30 cast iron construction and a 2-inch NPT discharge.

The Model 2242 uses an oil-filled motor for cooling and lubrication, along with a double carbon/ceramic mechanical seal for additional motor protection. An epoxy-potted cord seal provides moisture resistance and helps prevent wicking. This nonautomatic, single-phase pump operates on 220 V, 50 Hz power and includes a 10 m cord without a plug. Thermal overload protection is mounted directly on the motor windings for temperature sensing, and every pump is 100% factory tested.
