The Zoeller Model 189 high-head submersible pump is designed for effluent and dewatering applications that require dependable performance at elevated total dynamic head. Its 1-1/2-inch NPT discharge and non-clogging vortex impeller allow the pump to pass spherical solids up to 3/4 inch (19 mm), making it suitable for commercial effluent systems, dewatering installations, septic tank applications and enhanced-flow STEP systems.

The Model 189 features durable cast iron construction, a corrosion-resistant powder-coated epoxy finish, stainless steel hardware and an oil-filled motor for effective heat dissipation. Upper and lower ball bearings, a cast iron impeller, and carbon-and-ceramic mechanical sealing support reliable operation in demanding installations. Market-specific automatic and nonautomatic configurations are available for Vietnam and South Korea, with electrical characteristics tailored to each market.
